Train with me. Hone your craft. Anytime, anywhere.
Throughout my career, spanning Juilliard, CalArts and the dance landscapes of Los Angeles and New York City, I’ve refined a methodology that bridges technical excellence with deep artistic inquiry. In fast-paced classes (join me weekly at Steps!), conventions (love my 24Seven Dance friends!), and rehearsals, there’s rarely time to deconstruct the process, explore concepts in depth, or offer tailored guidance beyond the immediate work.
That’s why I created SHOP: Short, Helpful, Online Programs, so dancers everywhere can access high-level training, career-building tools, and deeper artistic exploration on their own time, at their own pace. These programs are designed for artists who want to go beyond steps and technique, gaining the strategies, frameworks, and confidence to thrive in the professional field.
I built these first two programs to address two of the biggest gaps I see in dance training:

"Exploring the tasks and tools Madi provided in her course helped me stray away from my usual habits and find new places within my movement. Taking her 5-day course would benefit all dancers as it helps develop a new sense of awareness that cannot only be used during improv but also with choreography. With improv becoming something seen more and more often in conventions and audition processes, I think this course is a wonderful opportunity to gain a necessary skill used in many aspects of the dance world. "
"I absolutely loved this five day seminar! Learning Madi’s improv tools has really helped me grow my confidence and love for improv. Now, after having a lot of guidance from Madi I can more easily explore and experiment with movement and not be afraid of taking risks. There were so many helpful tips and tricks incorporated into all of the videos. I loved how each day I could focus on a different task. I also found it very beneficial to have Madi’s verbal cues guide me through each lesson so I could really lean in and explore each task further. Bringing all of this information together on day 6 was extremely impactful. It really helped me understand how you can use all of these tools in combination without thinking too hard about it. I am certain that through additional work and practice I will continue to gain confidence and be able to utilize these amazing tips and tools in my future dance endeavors."
